Nearly 600 students were awarded degrees at Jacksonville State University's winter commencement on Dec. 15.

More than 220 University of Alabama students are receiving hands-on, innovative and advanced educational experiences with dozens of companies and organizations across the United States through UA's Cooperative Education Program for fall 2019. In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student. While in school, students carry regular course schedules. While on co-op, they work with professionals in their fields who supervise their training and work. At work, co-op students earn competitive salaries and may receive benefit packages in addition to valuable job experience. Participants maintain their full-time student status while at work and have priority registration status each semester through graduation.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 6,200 students named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List. Students enrolled at least 9 credit hours and with a grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for the spring semester and Term 4 of the 2014/2015 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of 3.65 or higher qualify for the Provost's List. The spring semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 4 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., and Global Campus, which consists of teaching sites outside of Alabama and online.

Troy University is pleased to recognize Foundation Scholarship recipients for the 2014/2015 academic year. The TROY Foundation provides stewardship for a number of scholarships which are established through the generosity of private donors to assist TROY students in their educational pursuits.

The Troy University Panhellenic Council held its largest ever Sorority Recruitment week Aug. 5-9 at the Troy Campus, with 310 women pledging Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Chi Omega, Kappa Delta and Phi Mu sororities.
